Product Description

The AAV-5 Helper Free Packaging System enables the production of recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV) containing a gene of interest without requiring a helper adenovirus. The adenoviral functions necessary for efficient AAV packaging are supplied through the pHelper plasmid, which provides E2A, E4, and VA RNA. The E1 function is supplied by the 293 packaging cells.

This approach provides a plasmid-based packaging strategy for recombinant AAV vector research and gene delivery applications.
